What Work Requires a Permit?
- A plumbing permit is required for connection to county or city
water, showing backflow preventer. A licensed plumber, licensed
irrigation contractor or the homeowner must apply for the permit
- For well pumps, electrical permits are required only if the
pump is not already existing. Permit application must be made by a
licensed electrical contractor or the homeowner
- Landscape material (hedges and trees) are required as part of the site plan for new construction
