questions and answers (continued)
Will the construction affect access to homes and
businesses along the construction route?
Maintaining access to homes and businesses is a priority. When
pipeline construction crosses driveways, one-half of an entrance will remain
open at all times. Flagmen will direct traffic to ensure safe traffic flow
at affected access points.
What anticipated noise disturbances are associated
with this project?
You can expect to hear construction noise associated with trucks and
heavy equipment that will be on site digging trenches and tunnels for the
pipeline installation. Construction is expected to take place Monday thru
Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Night and weekend work will be limited.
When will construction begin on this project? And
when will the project be completed?
Pipeline construction along Van Dyke Road is scheduled to begin in
June 2009 and is expected to be completed one year from the start date.
